Procedure 3 

Diagnostic Test Program Execution Check 

Execute the following tests from the Diagnostic Test Menu. These tests check the system 
board. Refer to Chapter 3, 

Tests and Diagnostic,

 for more information on how to perform 

these tests. 

1. System test 
2. Memory test 
3. Keyboard test 
4. Display test 
5.  Floppy Disk test 
6. Printer test 
7. Async test 
8.  Hard Disk test 
9.  Real Timer test 
10. NDP test 
11. Expansion test 
12. CD-ROM/DVD-ROM test 
13. Wireless LAN test 
14. LAN/Modem/Bluetooth/IEEE1394 test 
15. Sound test 

If an error is detected during these tests, go to Procedure 4. 

Procedure 4 

Replacement Check 

The system board may be damaged. Disassemble the computer following the steps described 
in Chapter 4, 

Replacement Procedures

 and replace the system board with a new one.
