Turn On the device, and try the keyboard again.
Reset the Keyboard dock
To reset the Keyboard dock, press the Rest button on the
Keyboard dock.
Never use a pencil to press the Reset button. Pencil lead
can break off inside the device and damage it.
Uninstall the keyboard driver
You can Uninstall the keyboard driver to allow Windows to
automatically reinstall the driver.

Search
field, type
Device Manager
.

Click or touch the
Device Manager
application.

In the “Device Manager” double-click or touch
Keyboards
.

Right-click or touch
Standard PS/2 Keyboard
and
select
Uninstall
.
Do
NOT
select the “Delete the driver software for this
device” box.
