VI/II
This parameter is used to set the gain and bias of the
VI/II
input terminal when
the
VI/II
terminal is used as the control input while operating in the
Speed
Control
mode or the
Torque Control
mode.
Note:
See note on
for further information on the VI/II
terminal.
VI/II Input Speed Control Setup
Perform the following setup to allow the system to receive
Speed

(
•
Provide a
Run
command (
F
and/or

).
Once set, as the
VI
input voltage or the
II
current changes, the output frequency
of the ASD will vary in accordance with the above settings.
This parameter sets
VI/II Speed Reference #1
and is the input signal level that
is associated with the setting of
VI/II Speed Frequency #1
while operating in
the
Speed Control
mode.
VI/II Input Torque Control Setup
Perform the following setup to allow the system to receive
Torque
control input
at the
VI/II
input terminal:

current changes, the output torque of
the ASD will vary in accordance with the above settings.
This parameter sets
VI/II Speed Reference #1
and is the input signal level that
is associated with the setting of
VI/II Torque Reference Setpoint #1
while
operating in the

Note:
The default value for parameter
commonly used for the 4 – 20 mA
current loop signal where 4 mA
equals 20% of a 20 mA signal. If
the VI input is used (0 – 10 VDC
input), this parameter may be
changed to 0.0% (of the input
signal).
Note:
The speed control response may be
further trimmed by adjusting the
Bias and Gain settings.
