Playing a CD or DVD using Windows 98 Second Edition
Positioning the disc on the spindle
CAUTION: Make sure the disc is properly positioned on the
spindle. If you position the disc incorrectly, it can jam the
disc tray.

Close the disc tray by pressing gently on the center of the tray
until it clicks—indicating that it is locked.
An audio CD or a DVD will automatically start playing.
Playing an audio CD (Windows 98 Second Edition)
NOTE: Windows NT does not support audio CD or DVD
playback functions.
An audio CD automatically starts playing when you insert it and
close the drive. Use either the CD control buttons on the drive or
the CD Player program to control the CD.
To access the CD Player program, you can open it through the
Start menu before you insert the CD or, once the CD is playing,
activate it from the taskbar.
