Driving the Machine
The drive wheels turn independently, powered by
hydraulic motors on each axle. You can turn 1 side
in reverse while you turn the other forward, causing
the machine to spin rather than turn. This greatly
improves the machine maneuverability but may
require sometime for you to adapt to how it moves.
The throttle control regulates the engine speed as
measured in rpm (revolutions per minute). Place
the throttle control in the F
AST
position for best
performance. Always operate in the full throttle
position when mowing.
CAUTION
Machine can spin very rapidly. Operator may
lose control of machine and cause personal
injury or damage to machine.

Use caution when making turns.
•
Slow the machine down before making
sharp turns.
Driving Forward
Note:
The engine stops when you move the
traction-control with the parking brake engaged.
To stop, pull the motion-control levers to the N
EUTRAL
position.

Disengage the parking brake; refer to
Disengaging the Parking Brake (page 22)
.
2.
Move the levers to the center, unlocked position.
3.
To go forward, slowly push the motion-control
levers forward (
