Hydrostatic Drive Belt Replacement
Hydrostatic Drive Belt Removal
1. Park the machine on a level surface and disengage the PTO. Stop the
engine, wait for all moving parts to stop and remove the key. Engage the
parking brake.
2. Disconnect the battery by removing the negative cable first, then the positive
cable from the battery.
3. Remove the deck belt.

4. Using a ½ inch breaker bar, insert into the most accessible square hole of
the idler arm.

5. Turn the breaker bar to release belt tension. Remove the belt from the
idler pulley.
Hydrostatic Drive Belt Installation
1. Install the belt to the idler pulley. Turn the breaker bar to add belt tension.
2. Using a ½ inch breaker bar, insert into the most accessible square hole of
the idler arm.
