1. Park the machine on a level surface, disengage the PTO and set the parking
brake. Stop the engine, wait for all moving parts to stop and remove the key.
2. Remove the deck belt.

3.
Remove the ½ inch bolt securing the blade and blade driver to the spindle
shaft.
4. Remove the ¾ inch lock nut securing the pulley to the spindle shaft. Once the
pulley is removed, the spindle shaft can be lowered from the spindle housing.
Note:
View the orientation of the top and bottom bearing guards when
removing the spindle shaft.
