Reducing the Tire Pressure
No Parts Required
Procedure
The tires are over-inflated at the factory for shipping
purposes. Reduce the pressure to the proper levels
before starting the machine. Refer to
Checking the
Tire Pressure (page 34) .

Traction Pedal
The traction pedal ( Figure 13 ) has 3 functions:
to make the machine move forward, to move it
backward, and to stop the machine. Press the top
of the pedal to move forward and the bottom of the
pedal to move backward or to assist in stopping when
moving forward. Also, allow the pedal to move to the

position to stop the machine ( Figure 14 ).
Note:
Do not rest the heal of your foot on the reverse
pad of the traction pedal when you are driving the
machine forward.
