Start the engine carefully according to the
Operator’s
Manual
and with feet away from the cutting elements.

Always wear ear protection.

Do not tilt the machne when starting the engine, except if
the trimmer has to be tilted for starting. In this case do
not tilt it more than absolutely necessary and lift only the
part which is away from the operator.

Examine the machine regularly and replace worn or
damaged parts for safety. Never replace the cutting unit
with metal parts and only use cutting heads and cutting
elements which are suitable for use at the operating speed
of the trimmer;
