Replacing Pivot Shaft - Serial
314000001 & up
1. Lower the tines to the ground to take pressure off
the lift system.
2. Remove the two bolts from the right hand lift arm
(Fig. 071).

3. Remove the snap ring from the pivot shaft (Fig. 072).

12. Once the shaft is through the chassis, re-install the
wheel and lift arm assembly. Apply Loctite
®
242 to
the threads of the set screws and tighten them to
12-14 ft-lbs. (16-19 Nm).
13. Install all snap rings and washers (Fig. 070).
