General Electrical
Diagnostic Information
Use the
eFlex Service Manual
, Chapter 8, Foldout Drawings, for
electrical schematics and wire harness diagrams required for
troubleshooting.
The Greensmaster eFlex uses a 53 Vdc battery-based
electrical system. Actual measurements of battery voltage
will vary from 42 to 64 Vdc, depending on the charge level
of the battery.
Note:
The machine frame is not used as an electrical ground.
Ground is distributed through the machine wire harnesses.

Note:
Refer to the
Multimeter
Note:
Use a digital multimeter when testing electrical
circuits. The high impedance (internal resistance) of a digital
multimeter in the voltage mode will ensure that excess current
is not allowed through the multimeter. Excess current can
damage electrical and electronic circuits not designed to carry
the current.
Note:
Read and understand the manufacturer’s operating
instructions for the multimeter.
Li+ Diagnostic Wire Harness
Toro P/N 120-6339
Use the Li+ diagnostic wire harness (
) when checking
the following:
•
testing the battery voltage
•
testing the battery contactor
•
determining damage to the battery wire harness
The Li+ diagnostic wire harness is configured with extra wire
length and has the capability to isolate electrical circuits. It
also provides the capability for direct CAN communication to
the battery pack while using the Toro DIAG interface, and it
can be connected directly to a battery pack connected to the
machine or a battery pack off the machine.
Note:
Use the Li+ diagnostic wire harness, a Toro DIAG
USB/CAN interface cable, and a PC with Toro DIAG
software to retrieve CAN information when working with a
Toro Service Representative.
