1) Fig. 19
- Mark the positions of the actuators with a pencil; to determine these
positions, consider the length of the actuator connecting rods; the rods are of
variable lengths, starting from 0,18 m and, on request, varying by multiples of 0.5 m.
2) Fig. 20
- Use a suitable drill to make holes in the moving part of the window frame
and then fix the butterfly brackets “SF” using the “V1” screws.
3) Fig. 20
- Drill holes in the fixed part of the window frame and then fix the “SA1”
bracket using the “V1” screws, making sure that the “SA1” bracket is aligned with the
“SF” bracket.
4) Fig. 21
- Use the “V2” screw, “R1” washers and “D1” nut to join the “SA1” bracket,
fixed to the fixed part of the window frame, to the “SA2” bracket, which will later be
fixed to the actuator.
5) Fig. 21
- Mount the “MI1” and “MI2” inner clamps on the “SA2” bracket using the “V3”
screws.
6) Figs. 21/22
- Insert the “MI1” clamps into the ”G” guides on the sides of the actuator.
7) Fig. 22
- Make sure that the “C1” rack of the actuator is fully retracted inside the
actuator.
8)
Repeat points 2) to 7) for each actuator to install.
9) Figs. 22/23
- Connect the various actuators together using the supplied “A1” rods:
insert the “T1” head inside the “B1” bushing on the actuator and fix it using the “V3”
screw and “D2” nut. Insert the “P1” extension into the “T1” head (with the rounded
end) and then onto the “A1” rod.
10) Figs. 22/23
- Fix the extension “P1” to the “T1” head using the “V4” screw and “D4”
nut.
11) Fig. 17
- Then drill a hole in the “A1” rod using the supplied “AD” template: place the
“AD” template onto the “A1” rod; position the “P2” disk inside the deepest slot of the
“P1” component; place the C plane of the template at the end of the aluminium tube;
drill with a diameter 4 bit.
12) Figs. 22/23
- Connect the “P1” extension to the “A1” rod using the “V5” screw and
“D3” nut.
13) Fig. 22
- Apply the “TC” plugs in the holes in the bushings that are not occupied by
the rods.
14) Fig. 24
- After making sure that the window frame is in the closed position and the
actuators are at their travel stops (rack fully retracted into the actuator), fix the heads
of the “A1” thrust racks to the “SF” butterfly brackets using the “V6” screws and “D4”
nuts.
15) Fig. 25
- Slide the actuators along their axes until they exercises enough pressure on
the seals to properly close the window frame.
Lastly, fix the “V2” and “V3” screws.
THE MAXIMUM DISPLACEMENT BETWEEN THE MACHINES MUST NOT
EXCEED I 2.5 DEGREES OR ABOUT 5cm EVERY 100cm OF DISTANCE
