EMP HASES
：
Observe whether there is a skewed slot o n one side of the rack
of steering gear. This skewed slot is designed to prevent the
drawbar of steering gear fro m loosening. To re-install it, the
thrust washer should be fixed in the skewed slot.
4. Disassemble:

Spring

Pressing block

NOTICE:
Seize and pull out the pressing block with nipper pliers, which
can make the disassembly easier.
5. Disassemble:
·
Oil seal
①
·
Inner clasp
②
·
Ou ter clasp
③
·
Pinion shaft
④
NOTICE: The o il seal, once removed, must be replaced with
new one.
Tu rn the pinio n shaft with hand to inspect the operatio n of the
bearing. In case of unsmooth operation, the bearing should be
replaced.
