5.3.5. Adjusting the speaker line's OPEN sensitivity
Open sensitivity is expressed as the ratio to the initial value (defined as 100 %) and can be adjusted in the range
of 101 % to 800 %. It is set to "200" (the 4th indicators from the top light) for all the channels by default.
Note
Moving the setting closer to 101 % increases the OPEN sensitivity, and thus improves the accuracy of "OPEN"
detection. Moving the setting closer to 800 % decreases the OPEN sensitivity, and thereby stabilizes the
operation of the "OPEN" detection.

Step 1. Press the OK key while the "ADJUST OPEN RANGE" (Speaker
line OPEN sensitivity adjustment) screen is displayed.
The "SELECT CHANNEL" (channel selection) screen is
displayed.
OPEN sensitivity set positions for the all channels can be
confirmed from the light-up positions of the LEDs. (Lighting
range of the LEDs corresponds to the variable range of 101 to
800 of the OPEN sensitivity.)

Step 2. Select the channel for which the setting is to be changed.
Press the Plus (+) or Minus (–) key to select all channels or
desired channel (from CH1 through CH8).
Selected channel(s) can be confirmed by the Channel selection
indicator(s) on the fluorescent display.

Step 3. Press the OK key.
The OPEN sensitivity setting screen for the selected channel is displayed.
The set value of the selected channel is displayed in the text display area.
Step 4. Set the value using the Plus (+) or Minus (–) key.
The setting range is 101 to 800.
Values can be adjusted in 1 steps ranging from 101 to 110, in 10 steps ranging from 110 to 200 and in
100 steps thereafter. The light-up position of the LED goes up or down accordingly when the setting
value is changed.
Step 5. Press the OK key.
The setting save starts with its process message displayed, and the screen reverts to that in Step 4
when finished.
Be sure to save the settings as doing otherwise may cause them to revert to the original settings at the
time of system reset.
