No write access to
parameters
Hardware write protection
enabled
Set the write protection switch
on the main electronics
module to the OFF position.
Current user role has
limited access authorization
1. Check user role (

10.2 Diagnostic message (Error message)
Faults detected by the self-monitoring system of the measuring device are
displayed as a diagnostic message in alternation with the operational display.
Operational display in alarm condition
Diagnostic message
1. Status signal
2. Diagnostic behavior
3. Diagnostic behavior with diagnostic code
4. Short text
5. Operating elements
NOTE: If two or more diagnostic events are pending simultaneously, only the
message of the diagnostic event with the highest priority is shown.
Status signals
The status signals provide information on the state and reliability of the device
by categorizing the cause of the diagnostic information (diagnostic event).
The status signals are categorized according to VDI/VDE 2650 and
NAMUR Recommendation NE 107:
F = Failure, C = Function Check, S = Out of Specification,
M = Maintenance Required
Symbol Meaning
F
Failure
A device error has occurred. The measured value is no longer valid.
C
Function check
The device is in service mode (e.g. during a simulation).
S
Out of specification
The device continues to operate:
• Outside its technical specification limits (e.g. outside the process
temperature range)
• Outside of the configuration carried out by the user (e.g. maximum flow
in parameter 20 mA value)
M
Maintenance required
Maintenance is required. The measured value remains valid.
