CHECK LOCATION
To check the GPS information for your location, use the left/right arrows to navigate to the
GPS Settings
and press the
K
button. The following information will be displayed (use the
up/down arrows to navigate the menu):
•
GPS location;
•
Altitude;
•
When the last GPS fix was received;
•
The number of satellites currently in use (typically more satellites indicates a more
accurate fix);
•
HDOP (horizontal dilution of precision). The lower the number the more accurate the
position. Numbers less than one typically indicate good accur acy;
•
Whether the fix is 2D (inaccurate) or 3D (more accurate);
•
Whether the GPS is currently on (GPS will automatically turn on when in the GPS
settings menu).
