Operation for operation mode adapter
Outgoing Internet calls (Internet telephony)
To initiate outgoing calls over the Internet, lift the receiver on one of the telephones
connected to your telephone system. You usually hear your telephone system's
internal dial tone. Now dial the extension number to which the tiptel 106 VoIP adapter
is connected. This call number is used as a special exchange connection for VoIP
calls.
If the adapter is configured correctly and there is an Internet connection you will hear
a dial tone after entering the special exchange connection number.
Now dial the number of the person you want to call.
To speed up the connection, dial
after the last digit of the call number.
Please refer to the tariffs and conditions provided by your Internet telephony provider.
If your telephone system is set up to obtain an exchange connection automatically,
find out how to dial internal extensions in the telephone system's user manual.
To end a call, hang up the receiver or dial:

Incoming Internet calls (Internet telephony)
The tiptel 106 VoIP adapter signals an incoming Internet call to the extension/group
entered in the configuration software. This may need to be set up in the telephone
system.
