Installing the tiptel 106 VoIP:
First, connect the network cable to your router/switch and connect it to the LAN
socket on the tiptel 106 VoIP. Plug the mains adapter into a socket and connect the
hollow plug to the "DC 5V" socket. The "ACT" LED lights up and then flashes when
data is transferred.
A further approach depends on whether you have a DHCP server on your network or
not. A DHCP server can issue IP addresses automatically to the terminal devices
connected to the network. If necessary, ask your network administrator. It is essential
that you understand the network environment to which the tiptel 106 VoIP is to be
connected for installation to work properly.
