When installation is complete, click on “Close”. 

 

Turning it all on 

Applying power to the DSP-D300 for the first time will have several effects: 
 
1.

 

The Windows USB driver will install if you are using 32-bit Windows. 

2.

 

The tuning will have to be grossly adjusted. 

 

Insert the power cord into the DSP-D300.  All the LEDs will light for 2 seconds. 
 

 

 
The power LED will remain lit. 
 
 

Installing the USB driver 

Note:  This is the most probable sequence.  Driver installation procedures vary 

greatly for different versions of Windows. 

 

If backwards compatibility with Version 1 and 2 DSP-D300 devices is 
necessary,  the 32-bit driver must be installed in addition to the standard 
HID driver that Version 3 uses.  If you are running a 64-bit OS (XP 64 or 
Vista 64), the 32-bit driver will not work.  To use the 32-bit driver, install a 
32-bit virtual machine.
