Failure of rice cooker

The inner lid of pressure rice
cooker is highly air-tight. The
lid may be slightly hard to close
but it is not a malfunction.

Touching keys does not work.
Is the power plug connected to
the outlet?

Carbon on the inner pot cannot be
cleaned off easily.
Fill the inner pot with hot water, let it sit for a while and then wash it
with soft sponge. Wash also the outside of the inner pot.

Abnormal display and sound

The motion sensor causes the display to go off when not operated for a

It lights again when you put a hand over the motion sensor.

Depending on the ambient temperature, it may not light even when you put a
hand over the motion sensor. Touch the display or key area to light it.

A humming sound is caused by fan operation and normal. A buzzing or
crackle sound is caused by IH operation and normal.

and repetitive short beeps sound.
Touching keys may not work if the body is hot when the rice cooker is placed
in a hot room or on a carpet and the air inlet/outlet is blocked.
(1) Disconnect the power plug.
(2) Move the rice cooker to a cooler place and keep the air inlet/outlet from
being blocked.
(3) Connect the power plug to the outlet again and touch the keys.
If the problem still persists, the rice cooker is broken. Disconnect the power
plug and contact the place of purchase for repair.
