Cooking rice
Connect the power plug to the
outlet.

select the desired menu.
You can skip this step if the menu is already

If "KeepWarm On" is lit, touch the [Cancel] key
to turn it off.
● As the previous keep-warm setting is retained,
you do not need to select if you use the same
setting.
● The initial setting is "KeepWarm 6Hours" for
Eco and "KeepWarm On" for the others.
● Do not select "Immediate KeepWarm" in this
step.Otherwise cooking will not start.

Touch the [Start/Rinse-free] key.
Cooking starts and the remaining time appears
on the display.
When selecting "Porridge", touch
the [Hour • Min] key to adjust the
cooking time.
● Touch [Hour] to increase by 5-minute increments
and [Min] to reduce by 5-minute increments.
● The time can be set by 5-minute increments from
40 to 90 minutes.
● The initial setting is 60 minutes. Specify the
desired time.
● Set 90 minutes when cooking brown rice
porridge.

"Rinse-free" appears on the display.
● You can select "Eco", "Plain", "Quick",
"Porridge", "Mixed" and "Sushi".

seconds after "Rinse-free" appears.

●The time is from starting cooking to completing steaming
(with 220 V voltage, 23°C room and water temperature
and basic water amount).
●Rinse-free rice requires approximately 1 to 5 minutes
more than the guide.
●The time may differ depending on the cooking amount,
rice type, room and water temperatures, water amount
and timer setting.
Caution about pressure
The pressure indication lights when applying pressure
starts. It goes off in 2 minutes after pressure is released.
Make sure that no person is near the steam
cap.
Touch the [Cancel] key to cancel cooking.
● Be careful that hot steam will come out of the steam
vent.
● Opening the lid immediately after pressing the
[Cancel] key may result in burn.
Wait approximately 2 minutes until the
pressure indication goes off, and check that
no steam is coming out.
Press the hook button.
To restart cooking, perform the procedure
from "
Pouring water and setting the inner
pot in the rice cooker".

Restarting the cooking canceled halfway may result in
a longer cooking time or poor texture.
To set rinse-free rice
● Do not open the lid when the pressure indication is
on the display.
● The content may boil over resulting in burn.
● Do not place your face or hands near the steam
vent during cooking.
● You may be burnt or injured by steam coming out with
large sound from the steam vent.
Opening/closing the lid during cooking may cause
the content to boil over resulting in burn or injury.
To cancel cooking
Touch the [Cancel] key.
If you need to open/close the lid during
cooking
Be sure to observe the procedure below.
Alarm when the inner pot is not set in the body
A sound will occur if you touch [Start/Rinse-free] or select
"Immediate" without setting the inner pot.

* Scorch of seasoned rice may be dark even with low
heat.
