3.3 Electrical Installation

3.3.1 Rear Panel

The solenoid is connected via the 6-way HiRose connector, which is compatible with

all Thorlabs solenoid-actuated shutters (refer to Appendix A   for details of pin outs)

.

The unit also features an Interlock connector, for use in laser safety applications - see

Section 3.4.2.

Caution

DO NOT connect/disconnect the interlock jackplug with power applied to 

the unit.
