2.5.9 Thermistor Calibration
The CLD101x is designed to use the built-in into the laser diode thermistor for
temperature sensing. Therefore, the resistance is measured and from this, the
temperature can be calculated. There are two commonly used approximations -
Steinhart-Hart and exponential method (see
). Select the desired
calculation method, and push EDIT (or directly click to the Calculation Method line.).
Note
Calculation Method and thermistor parameters can be changed only if the TEC controller is
switched off!
Select the desired calculation method, then push
DONE. Further the thermistor constants can be
changed - use the arrow buttons to select a
parameter, then push EDIT button, or push the
selected topic a second time.
For each approximation method, typical values are given by default. Change these parameters
only, if reliable data for the given thermistor are available.
