5 The TG508 GUI
Setting up your Thomson Gateway
The Easy Setup pages help you to configure your Thomson Gateway Internet connection.
Proceed as follows:
1 In the Pick a task list, click Set up . The Easy Setup welcome page appears:
2 Click Next .
3 Select the ATM Description and Protocol that your ISP uses from the dropdown lists:
This will automatically configure the Thomson Gateway with correct protocal and VPC/VCI settings for
your ISP.
4 Click Back to go back and change your settings. Click Next to save your settings.
5 Easy Setup will update the Thomson Gateway configuration according to the service profile. As soon as it
completed the update, the
Confirm page appears:
Click Finish to save these setting. Now your Thomson Gateway are ready for use.
If your ISP uses PPPoA or PPPoE, then you will need to enter the username and password
provided by your ISP.
