4.5.4.1 Test the connection with the "ping" diagnostic tool
After setting the LAN connection, the easiest way to test access to the DLU is with a PC
using the PING test. A console window (terminal) must be opened for this. In the Windows
10 operating system, this is done by starting the "cmd.exe" application.
The following steps are to be taken:
1. Click on the Windows icon in the lower left corner of the computer screen. The start
window opens similar to the one shown in the image below.
