The image below shows the location for inserting a polarization analyzer into the microscope.

 To install the configurable polarization analyzer
1. Remove the cap from the polarization analyzer opening on the left and right side of the
microscope.
2. Hold the polarization analyzer by the labeled end with the label facing up.
3. Gently push the analyzer all the way into the insertion slot and then slowly draw it out
until you feel the first click and then a second click.
The two positions are described below.
4. When you are finished using the analyzer, replace the caps on the analyzer openings on
both sides of the microscope.
NOTICE Insert the polarization analyzer only from the right side of the
microscope.
