Placing the sample tray or plate onto the sample block(s)
The steps for placing the sample tray in the sample block(s) are the same for:
• A sample tray/retainer
• A sample tray without a retainer
• A 96-well plate.
1.
Lift the sample tray from the MicroAmp
™
Splash-Free 96-Well Base and place it in the sample
block(s).
2.
Place the MicroAmp
™
Tray or Plate onto the sample block(s) so that well A1 is at the upper left
corner of the tray, as shown below:
IMPORTANT!
Do not place the base in the sample block(s).
3.
Close the heated cover.
Loading samples in the 384-well instrument

1.
Pipette the samples into the sample wells.
2.
Cover the plates with MicroAmp
™
Clear Adhesive Film.
