10. If you are using hydrogen, remove the remaining hydrogen safety screws.
11. Power-off all the remaining instruments.
a. Power-off the GC. See your GC user documentation for more information.
b. Turn off the GC’s carrier gas supply at the tank.

Power-off the autosampler (optional) by switching off the main power switch or by
unplugging the electrical cable from the electrical outlet.
IMPORTANT
The process ends here if you are planning to perform system maintenance
on the ISQ 7000 mass spectrometer alone (for example, to replace the filament). You don’t
need to turn off the GC, data system, and autosampler.
Note
You must move the GC or MS to access the right hydrogen safety screw.
IMPORTANT
In case of an emergency, pull the power cord out of the electrical outlet.
