Removal of protection foil
Before the reinforced shelf and U-profiles can be used the protective foils must be removed. It is
adhered to the shiny surface of the shelves and prevents it from scratches and fingerprints. Remove by
peeling it off at one edge and pulling slowly but strongly. Possible adhesive residues at the edges should
be removed.
CAUTION

The SST and CU reinforced shelves for 160 Liter units and the CU reinforced shelf for the 250
Liter units are for a maximum shelf capacity of 10 kg with equal distribution on the shelf.

Total unit loading 30kg, for 160 Liter units and 250 Liter units with CU shelves.


The SST shelf of the 250 Liter units has a maximum shelf capacity of 14 kg with equal distribution
on the shelf. Total unit loading 42 kg, for 250 Liter units with SST shelves.
Note

In general the U-profiles reduce the deflection of the shelf. By attaching the bars to the shelf
orientated with its opening downwards you will get a rigid shelf with a flat surface. With heavy
loads applied (e.g. cell factories) the shelf may slightly deflect, but lesser than a standard shelf.
