3. Remove the left cover, as described in "
Removing the Left Cover" on page 29
4. Remove the conversion dynode/electron multiplier power supply.

a.
Disconnect the ribbon cable.
b. Disconnect the electron multiplier cable and conversion dynode cable from the
bottom of the vacuum manifold.
c.
Remove the two large screws holding the power supply in place. There is
double-sided tape holding the back of the power supply to the chassis. Pull the power
supply out to break it loose from the tape.
5. Install the new conversion dynode/electron multiplier power supply (PN 119377-0001 or
119377-0002 with the PPINICI upgrade).
a.
Insert the power supply.
b. Reattach the screws.
c.
Reconnect the cables.
6. Reattach the left, top, and front covers of the DSQ II.
7. Restart the DSQ II.
