This is an invalid operating condition, which may indicate a problem
in the Moduleware (the instrument control firmware installed in the
Dionex RFC).
To troubleshoot:
•
Call Thermo Fisher Scientific for assistance. The Dionex RFC
Moduleware cannot be serviced by the user.
•
ERR:EGC NOT FOUND [146]
This error appears if you press the
EGC
DEVICE SELECT
button and
the Dionex RFC cannot establish a connection with the EGC.
To troubleshoot:
•
Check the EGC cable connections.
•
If the error persists, replace the EGC (see Section 6.4).
•
ERR:EGC SHORT [147]
This error may be caused by a malfunction in the EGC.
To troubleshoot:
•
After closing the error message, press the
EGC
DEVICE SELECT
button to restart the EGC. If the error reappears, replace the EGC
(see Section 6.4).
•
If the error persists after replacing the EGC, call Thermo Fisher
Scientific for assistance.
•
ERR: OVERPOWER EGC1 [148]
This error appears when, in order to maintain the selected current, the
Dionex RFC is required to apply a higher voltage than the EGC can
support.
To troubleshoot:
•
Replace the EGC (see Section 6.4).
