Note Regarding the “NONE” EGC and Suppressor Types
Before initial setup, the Dionex RFC-30 sets the EGC and suppressor types to
NONE
to designate that the types have not yet been selected. After initial setup, the
Dionex RFC-30 sets the suppressor type to
NONE
if a new EGC type is selected
and the type is incompatible with the current suppressor (for example, changing
from a
KOH
to an
MSA
EGC when the suppressor type is
AAES
). When the type is
NONE
, the device is disabled. If either the EGC or the suppressor type is
NONE
,
automatic calculation is disabled.

The suppressor type determines the maximum flow rate.
