This error occurs when the current applied to the eluent generator cartridge
exceeds the maximum current allowed. Under these conditions, the EGC
current is turned off to prevent damage to the EGC. This error may occur if
the liquid flow to the cartridge is interrupted.

To troubleshoot:

Contact Dionex for assistance. The ICS-2000 electronics components
cannot be serviced by the user.
The leak sensor is installed in the drip tray at the bottom of the component
panel (see
). If liquid accumulates in the tray, the sensor signals the
problem and the “Leak sensor wet” error message appears.
