With automated control, you create a predefined list of commands
and parameters (called an instrument method in Chromeleon 7 or a
program in Chromeleon 6.8) for controlling the Dionex AS-DV.
Instrument methods and programs can be created automatically (with
the help of a software wizard). For information about creating an
instrument method or a program, see
Section 3.5 .
2.3.2 System Wellness
System Wellness monitors the overall “health” of a chromatographic
system. It provides built-in diagnostic and calibration features that help
prevent unscheduled system shutdowns and assure reliable operation of
system devices. Use the Dionex AS-DV Wellness Panel (see
Figure 2-14 )
