Turning On the Accela RI Detector for the First Time
Y To turn on the Accela RI Detector for the first time
1. Ensure that the power switch at the front of the module is in the Off position (released or
out position) ( Figure 6 on page 6 ).
2. Ensure that the Accela RI Detector is properly connected to the data system computer.
3. Ensure that the data system lists the appropriate configuration settings for the Accela RI
Detector.
4. Plug the power cord into the power receptacle on the back panel of the detector ( Figure 7
on page 6 ) and connect it to the power source.
5. Turn the power on by pushing in the power switch on the front panel ( Figure 6 on
page 6 ).
Note By default, the temperature control feature is activated. The Temp LED does
not turn green until the operating temperature of the detector equilibrates to the
preset temperature of 35
°
C.
