Installation Procedure

If it is not possible to vent cooking fumes and vapors to

the outside, the hood can be used in the non-vented

(recirculating) version, using the recirculating kit. Fumes

and vapors are recycled through grid.

1.

Attach the deflector brackets to the upper horizontal

support in the ceiling with 4 - 4.2 x 8 mm installation

screws.

2.

Assemble the deflector extensions at a distance of 1"

(25 mm) of the deflector brackets. Use 2 - 3.5 x

9.5 mm installation screws to hold it.

3.

Assemble the air deflector with the upper horizontal

support with 2 - 4.2 x 8 mm installation screws per

side.

4.

Measure length of 8" (20.3 cm) vent needed to

connect the transition to the deflector.

Note:

Vent should fit up inside deflector 1" (25 mm)

minimum.

5.

Measure from the bottom of the air deflector to the

bottom of the hood outlet.

6.

Cut the duct to the measured size.

7.

Slide the duct onto the bottom of the air deflector.

8.

Use duct tape or vent clamps to seal the deflector and

the exhaust outlet from the hood.
