4.3  Oven Temperature Sensor Diagnostics 

With electrical power 

OFF

, you can perform a resistance reading (and 

simultaneous temperature reading) to check the oven temperature 
sensor. The resistance fluctuates according to ambient (room) 
temperature. 

 

To avoid injury, it is recommended to wait until the appliance at or 
near room temperature before performing resistance and temperature 
readings.
