SPECIFICATIONS
CONSTRUCTION
Epoxy powder coated black zintec steel panels. Front panels are 1.6 mm thick, legend screened in abrasion resistant two pot
epoxy ink.
FADERS
60mm stroke long life linear faders with custom moulded ABS knobs. All faders are protected by a built-in dust shield.
FLASH KEYS
Long life computer keys with custom moulded 19mm keycaps.
ELECTRONICS
CMOS microprocessor with 5 year lithium battery backed CMOS internal memory. Eight bit (256 step) record and playback of
channel levels.
POWER SUPPLY
Swichable 20 or 220/240 VAC, 50-60Hz. Power consumption is less than 5 watts.
DIMMER OUTPUT
USITT DMX-512 1990 Digital multiplex system requiring twin twisted shielded cable approved for RS-422/485 of up to 600 metres
for transmission to remote dimmers. Dimmer refresh rate is every 22 milliseconds. If fitted with the DMX address thumbwheel
(optional at time of order) <$IDMX Thumbwheel>Channel 1 of the Nova may be selected to start at any DMX channel address.
DMX DECODERS
DMX-512 to optically isolated, analogue output receivers can be supplied by Theatrelight to drive any make of dimmer requiring
plus or minus 10, 12, or 15 volts, with or without diode offset. Each receiver may be programmed with a channel offset. Up to ten
of these 64 channel receivers can be used in larger installations. TLRX Receivers are available in either 19 inch, 1 U rack
mounting configuration, or as a standalone portable version.
DMX SPLITTERS
DMX-512 splitters can be supplied by Theatrelight for larger installations. The splitter re-shapes and buffers the received DMX
and drives a number of DMX transmitters. Splitters may be cascaded. TLSX Splitters are available in either 19 inch, 1 U rack
mounting configuration, or as a standalone portable version.
