4.3.1 Inspecting the exhaust and fuel system
Exhaust system
WARNING! Engine exhaust gases contain
carbon monoxide (CO). Inhalation can deprive
the body of oxygen and result in organ damage
or death by asphyxiation.

Check exhaust system

bolts and metal parts for corrosion.
►
Ensure hoses are properly mounted and free
of cracks.
Fuel system
WARNING! Fuel is highly flammable. Vapors
may explosively ignite.
►
Check fuel system

►
Ensure hoses are properly mounted and free
of cracks.
►
Do not start the engine if you smell fuel or
see a fuel leak.
►
Attach and press down on the engine cover
until it snaps into place.
