Lift/Lower Circuit—Theory of
Operation
Unswitched Power Circuit (Red)
Unswitched power is available from the battery positive
terminal to the 3-way distribution block.
Unswitched power is available from the 3-way distribution
block to the following:
• 30-amp fuse (F3)
• 15-amp fuse (F4)
• 20-amp (F6)
• 20-amp fuse (F7)
Unswitched power is available from 30-amp fuse (F3)
output terminal to the ignition relay (K1) terminal 30.
Unswitched power is available from 15-amp fuse (F4)
output terminal to the following components:
• Ignition switch terminal 6
• LDU Display terminal 1-01
Unswitched power is available from 20-amp fuse (F6)
output terminal to the MCU (U1) terminals 6-06 and 6-07.
Unswitched power is available from 20-amp fuse (F7)
output terminal to the MCU (U1) terminals 1-01 and 1-01.
Switched Power Circuit (Green)
When the key switch (SW1) is turned to the run position,
voltage is provided from key switch terminal 4 to ignition
relay (K1) terminal
8
6, energizing the relay and to MCU
(U1) terminal 1-02.
With the ignition relay (K1) energized, switched power is
provided from ignition relay terminal
8
7 to the following
components:
• Joystick (SW3) terminal 1
• LDU display terminal 1-03
With switched power provided to the MCU, the MCU will
energize.
With switched power provided to the LDU, the LDU
display will energize and will display vehicle status.
Lift/Lower Modes
The one-touch or manual lift/lower modes are activated
using the menus on the LDU. The selected mode is
communicated to the MCU by the CAN circuit.
Manual Mode
- When One-Touch is disabled, the cutting
units will lift or lower only while the lift/lower joystick is
pulled or pushed.
One-Touch Mode
- With One-Touch enabled and the
mow switch is in the ON position, push and release the
lift/lower joystick to lower the cutting units to the ground
and start the reels. Pull and release the lift/lower joystick
to completely lift the cutting units and stop the reels.
Lift Circuit
Pull back on the joystick (SW3) to lift the cutting units.
With the joystick pulled, power is supplied from joystick
terminal 2 to the MCU terminal 5-11.
When the signal is detected at MCU (U1) terminal 5-11,
power is supplied from terminal 2-01 to the lift solenoid
(SOL5), lifting the cutting units.
Note: The length of time the lift solenoid is energized is
set by the selected lift/lower mode. In manual mode, the
lift solenoid is active only when the joystick is pulled. For
one-touch mode, the lift solenoid is active for 6 seconds.
Lower Circuit
Push forward on the joystick (SW3) to lower the cutting
units. With the joystick pushed, power is supplied from
joystick terminal 5 to the MCU terminal 5-10.
When the signal is detected at MCU (U1) terminal 5-10,
power is supplied from terminal 2-03 to the lower
solenoid (SOL6), lowering the cutting units.
Note: The length of time the lower solenoid is energized
is set by the selected lift/lower mode.
