31. Remove blocking device or tool from left front reel
motor.
32. Disconnect and remove test equipment. Install all
hoses, lines, and fittings as noted prior to removal.
33. Install and connect all components as noted prior to
test.
34. Check hydraulic oil level. Add oil as needed. (Refer to
“Parts and Maintenance Manual” for correct oil
specifications.)
35. Start engine. Check hydraulic system for leaks.
Repair as necessary.
Rear Cutting Units Circuit Test
See Figures 6-29 through 6-32.
IMPORTANT
• Performing this test will isolate the rear cutting
units pump, rear reel valve, and right rear reel
motor from the rest of the rear cutting units
circuit.
• This test works together with the “Rear Cutting
Units Pump Test,” “Rear Reel Valve Test,” and
“Rear Reel Motors Test” to isolate a problem with
the rear cutting units circuit.
WARNING
1.
Park the mower safely. (See “Park Mower Safely” on
page 1-6.)

Disconnect hose (4) from fitting (2).

Install tee fitting (5) to fitting (2).
4.
Connect flow meter inlet hose (1) and rear reel valve
hose (4) to tee fitting (5).
The hydraulic system is under pressure, and the
oil will be hot.
• Always relieve pressure in the hydraulic
system before performing service.
• Failure to follow appropriate safety
precautions may result in death or serious
injury.
Required Tools and Materials
• Flow Meter
• -6 ORFS Test Hose 4000 psi (276 bar)
• -6 ORFS Tee Fitting
• Blocking Device or Tool
