OPS
Removal and Installation
1.
Park the mower safely. (See “Park Mower Safely” on
page 1-6.)
2.
Remove canopy (if equipped). (See “Canopy” on
page 9-5.)

3.
Support the OPS (6) using a suitable lifting device.
IMPORTANT
Decks must be down during removal procedure.
4.
To allow access to the OPS mounting bolts, remove
bolt (1), nut (2), washer (3), and pin (4) to lower the
end of the wing lift cylinder (5).
5.
Remove the four OPS mounting bolts (7), nuts (8),
and washers (9).
6.
Repeat steps 4 and 5 for other side of mower.
7.
Lift OPS (6) and slide toward rear of mower until OPS
clears the end of the mower.
Installation Notes
• Install OPS by reversing the order of removal.
• Tighten OPS mounting bolts to 135—165 lb-ft
(183—224 N·m).
Hood
Removal and Installation
1.
Park the mower safely. (See “Park Mower Safely” on
page 1-6.)

Open and support hood using a suitable lifting
device.
3.
Remove cotter pins (1) and washers (2) from pivot
rod (4).
4.
Slide hood to one side until pivot (3) clears the end of
the pivot rod (4). With one side disengaged, slide
hood to the other side until the other pivot clears the
pivot rod. Remove hood from mower.
Installation Notes
• Support the hood with a suitable lifting device to aid
in installation.
• Install hood by reversing the order of removal.
