Put the airplane back to its initial configuration.
(1)
Engage the circuit breakers shown in Table 501.
(2)
Set the BATTERY and STBY FLT DISPLAY switches to the OFF position.
(3)
Remove external electrical power from the airplane.

EFD-750 Software and Configuration Loading Procedures
A.
Prepare the Airplane for the EFD-750 Software and Configuration Loading Procedures.
(1)
Do the procedure Level the Airplane on Jacks. Refer to Chapter 8, Leveling - Maintenance
Practices.
(2)
Disconnect electrical connector (PL003) from receptacle (JL003) and electrical connector
(PR003) from receptacle (JR003).
(3)
Connect the landing gear electrical test box to electrical connectors (JL003 and JR003).
NOTE:
The 6388014-6 landing gear electrical test box is the only approved test box. There
are other landing gear electrical test boxes with different part numbers that look the
same, but they are not approved to use on this airplane.
(a)
Put the landing gear electrical test box SQUAT SWITCH to the ON GROUND position.
(4)
Connect external electrical power to the airplane.
(a)
Adjust the electrical power to 28.5 VDC, +0.25 or -0.25 VDC.
(5)
Set the BATTERY switch to the ON position.
B.
EFD-750 System Software Verification
(1)
Push and hold the knob on the EFD-750 display.
(2)
Set the STBY DISPLAY switch to the ON position.
(3)
When the normal display screen on the EFD-750 display is shown, release the knob.
(4)
Push the Menu button.
(5)
Turn the knob to highlight the System Install menu item.
(6)
Push the knob to select it.
(7)
When the "Enter Maintenance Mode?" message is shown, push the knob again to confirm.
NOTE:
The EFD-750 display will reboot and enter Maintenance Mode.
(8)
Turn the knob to highlight the System ID menu item.
(9)
Push the knob to select it.
(10) On the System ID screen, make sure that the Version and the Aircraft values for the Aircraft
CONFIG File are as follows:

(11) If the software is not correct, do the EFD-750 System Software Update File Upload in this section.
(12) If the software is correct and Aircraft CONFIG File incorrect, continue to the DCM-750
Configuration File Upload in this section.
(13) If both the software and configuration are correct, continue to the EFD-750 Display Maintenance
Mode Configuration in this section.
