Introduction
1.4
Powering Up in Normal Mode
To power up in Normal Mode, keep all switch settings at the defaults in
. Apply the voltage settings
in
for any of the Normal Mode settings.
1.5
Testing in Normal Mode
To test the device in Normal Mode, probe OUTA and OUTB to validate that each is pulled to the applied
voltage at VDD1 or VDD2 depending on the combination of voltages shown in
. The output will pull
to the supply that has a valid 3.3V.
1.6
Powering Up in Control Mode
To power up in Control Mode, keep all switch settings at the defaults in
except SW3. SW3 must
be switched to pin 4 or remain at pin 2 and be driven to ground by a connection at TP11. Apply the
voltage settings in
for any of the Control Mode settings.
1.7
Testing in Control Mode
To test the device in Control mode, probe OUTA and OUTB to validate that each is pulled to the applied
voltage at VDD1 or VDD2 depending on the combination of voltages shown in
. The output will pull
to the supply that has a valid 3.3V. To Test the RX and TX buffers, apply signals to the RXH and TXC
pins and monitor the outputs at RXC and TXH.
1.8
Measuring the Charge Pump
To measure the charge pump output voltage, measure the voltage between TP8 and TP23 with a high
impedance meter.
