Getting Started with the TI-84 Plus C Silver Edition

Radian

mode interprets angle values as radians. Answers display in

FUNCTION, PARAMETRIC, POLAR, SEQ

Graphing modes define the graphing parameters. Chapters 3, 4, 5, and 6

(function) graphing mode plots functions, where Y is a function of

X (Chapter 3).

(parametric) graphing mode plots relations, where X and Y are

functions of T (Chapter 4).

THICK, DOT-THICK, THIN, DOT-THIN

THICK

plotting mode is a quick way to reset all Y= line styles to a thick

line connecting each point calculated for the selected functions. You can
change individual line styles in the Y= editor.

Note

: The THICK plotting mode on the TI-84 Plus C is equivalent to the

CONNECTED plotting mode on the TI-84 Plus graphing calculator.

DOT-THICK

plotting mode is a quick way to reset all Y= line styles to a

large dot and plots only the calculated points of the selected functions.
You can change individual line styles in the Y= editor.

Note

: The DOT-THICK plotting mode on the TI-84 Plus C is equivalent to

the DOT plotting mode on the TI-84 Plus graphing calculator. You can

THIN

plotting mode is a quick way to reset all Y= line styles to a thin line
