The TAS5706EVM2 is powered by two power supplies connected to the MC57xx controller board: a 5-V
power supply (VIN) and a 10-V to 26-V (PVCC) power supply. The 3.3-V level is generated on the board
by a voltage regulator from the 5-V supply.
Note:
The power-supply cable length must be minimized. Increasing the length of the PSU cable
increases the distortion of the amplifier at high output levels and low frequencies
The maximum output-stage supply voltage depends on the speaker load resistance. Check the
recommended maximum supply voltage in the TAS5706A (
) data sheet.
