14.3 Device Preparation
Before positioning the device in front of the vehicle, a horizontal levelling
operation is required in order to set the device level with the work surface.
The correct levelling can be checked with the round level inside the optical box.
Proceed as follows:
1. Position the device in the selected work area.
2. Check the correct levelling with the round level.
3. If the device is not levelled:
I. Loosen the position locking screws [A].
II. Adjust the inclination of the device by acting on the adjustment screws [B].
IV. Using the round level, make sure the device is levelled.
V. If necessary, repeat the operations above.
4. Tighten the position locking screws once the correct horizontal level has
been reached.
