Usage and Storage Instructions

Before operating the appliance read this
instructions manual and then keep it at hand for
further reference. In case the appliance gets
obtained by a new owner the manual should be
provided to him/her as well!
Thank you for buying QH01 180 heating appliance. This
is a product which provides heating at three possible
levels: 600W, 1200W or 1800W depending on customer’s
needs of comfortable room temperature. By correct
operation and maintenance as defined in this manual
your appliance will give you many years of useful
operation.
IMPORTANT SAFETY MEASURES AND
INSTRUCTIONS:
•
Before connecting the quartz heater to the mains,
check if the indicated voltage on the product’s
technical plate corresponds to the voltage of
the electricity system in your house (office). This
appliance is intended only for operation with the
voltage indicat5ed on its technical plate.
Children younger than 3 years of age should be
kept away from the appliance unless they are
under constant supervision.
Children from 3 to 8 years of age are allowed to
operate the on/off button only, provided that the
appliance is installed and ready for operation
and the children have been instructed in safe
operation of the appliance and they understand
all related risks.
Children from 3 to 8 years of age MUST
NOT: connect the plug to the power socket,
make adjustments, clean it or carry out user
maintenance operations.
This appliance can be used by children older
than 8 years of age and people with reduced
physical, sensor and mental capabilities, as
well as by people with insufficient experience
and knowledge in case they are supervised or
instructed in safe operation of the appliance and
understand the related risks. Children should not
be allowed to play with the appliance. Cleaning
and user maintenance operations must not be
carried out by children without supervision.
Some parts of the appliance may get very hot
during operation and thus cause burns to users. In
case there are children and vulnerable people in
the room, special attention should be paid.

This appliance should be used only for its intended
purpose, i.e. heating of domestic premises. Any
other different operation is considered incorrect
and consequently dangerous. The manufacturer
does not take responsibility for failures resulting
from improper and unreasonable operation.
Non-obeying this safety instruction will render the
product’s guarantee void!
•
Do not leave your house while the appliance is being
operated: make sure that the appliance is switched
off before leaving your place. Always disconnect the
power plug from the socket in case you do not intend
to use this appliance for a long time.
•
The heating appliance is hot during operation;
therefore do not touch the hot surfaces. A safe
distance of at least 1 meter between the appliance
and inflammable materials should be provided.
Position the heater so that possible contact is
avoided!
•
Do not use this appliance in areas of operation or
storage of inflammable materials. Do not operate
the appliance in areas with combustible medium (for
example in close proximity to inflammable gases or
aerosols) – there is a great risk of explosion and fire!
•
Do not insert and do not allow foreign objects to
enter the appliance protection cover openings,
because that may CAUSE ELECTRIC SHOCK AND FIRE.
•
This appliance is not suitable for animal breeding,
and it is intended only for indoor operation!
•
Never touch the appliance with wet or damp hands
– there is a risk for your life!
•
The power socket must be accessible all the time
so that the power plug can be disconnected as fast
as possible when necessary! THE APPLIANCE MUST
NOT BE INSTALLED BENEATH A POWER SOCKET!
•
Never pull the power cord or the appliance itself in
order to disconnect it from the socket.
•
Do not cover the appliance! If covered, there is a risk
of overheating.
•
Do not leave the heater unobserved during its
operation.
•
In case the power cord is damaged, in order to avoid
risks, it should be replaced by its manufacturer,
manufacturer’s maintenance representative or
another qualified person.
•
Do not use this appliance in the outdoors.
•
Do not use this appliance in close proximity to shower
cabins, in bathrooms or next to swimming pools!
•
This appliance provides IP24 protection (against
water droplets) and may be mounted in premises
where presence of moisture and water droplets is
