Cooking
Preheat the plate by setting the temperature control lever at the appropriate
temperature for the food to be cooked.
Do not use the lid while preheating.
The power lamp will turn ON.
Return the temperature control lever to “OFF” after use, and then unplug the
power cord from the outlet.
Start cooking when the power lamp turns OFF.
Cooking with the grooved plate
Even if the fluororesin coating starts to peel off of the
hot pot or grooved plate, it is harmless and presents
no performance or sanitary problems. However, do
not use the appliance if the pot or plate is corroded or
deformed.
Preheating is complete when the power lamp turns OFF.
The sharp, small edges that can be caused by the above may
cause injury.

If the lid breaks, it may scatter broken
pieces over a large area. Avoid the following when
handling the lid.

a paper towel or other rag while it is still warm.

or grooved plate on the main unit.
It is not abnormal for smoke or odor to occur when
using the appliance for the first time. The smoke or
odor will disappear as you continue to use the
appliance.
