MOUNTING GUIDE

HIGH CAPACITY UNIT

The screw size is a #12 X 1 ½” hex washer head tapping screw.
You will need a 8mm socket, there is a plug that needs to be put in after drilling the hole with a ¼” drill bit. The HCU mounting holes

(2) on the bottom measures 8 ½” center to center of the holes. This is for the inside holes that are shaped like a horseshoe so the

unit can be propped on these two screws for better handling during installation.
The top measures 11” center to center of the holes. It’s suggested that the top holes are marked after the two on the bottom have

already been secured to the wall. The unit can then be set on the bottom screws and the top two holes can now be marked for

drilling. The holes from top to bottom measure 22 5/8” center to center.

STABILIZATION MODULE

The Stabilizer bracket top holes measures 3 3/16” center to center, the bottom two are 3 ½” center to center and 5 1/8” from top to

bottom center to center. The screw size is #8 X 1 ½”drill size for the plug is 3/16”, and the screw measures 1 ¼” long.

POWER CORD

Power cord measures at 10’ in length.

IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS

•  Do not connect the unit to any water source other than municipally treated water.
•  To reduce the risk of fire, do not install the unit near any burner, heater or cooking appliance.
•  To protect against shock do not immerse power cord in water or any other liquid.
•  Before plugging power cord into 110 power outlet, make sure

FLOW

 switch is in

OFF

 position.

•  Do not open the unit as this will void the warranty – contact your supervisor or call Tersano for repairs or assistance if required.
•  Do not use the unit if it has a damaged cord or plug, if it is not working properly, or if a very strong ozone odor is present.
•  Do not try to repair the unit yourself – this will void your warranty.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

FOR INDOOR WALL MOUNT & DRY LOCATIONS ONLY

1.  Carefully remove all of the items from the cartons.
2.  Remove mounting hardware from plastic packages.
3.  Attach HCU to wall using 4 screws in flanges top and bottom. If mounting to drywall, attach to ½” plywood backer board to wall

before mounting High Capacity unit. Not to be mounted on mobile devices, hand carts, etc.

4.  Align Stabilization Module with High Capacity Unit as shown.
5.  Mount Stabilization Module bracket to wall with a minimum spacing of 1.5” from the High Capacity Unit.  Mount will be 4.25”

from the closest HCU mount. Use bracket as template mark holes on wall using a ¼” drill bit. Place a blue plastic insert in each

holes (4) using a hammer.  Screw brackets to wall using supplied 8 X 1 ¼” screws.

6.  Once brackets are mounted, hang Stabilization Module.
7.  Attach quick disconnect to the "Cold Water In" on Stabilization Module (facing unit, blue color fittings on left side connection).
8.  Attach connector hose supplied to right side outlet on Stabilization Module and attach opposite end to

COLD WATER IN

 on

HCU (white color fittings into grey).

9.  Ensure that the water pressure is at minimum 30 PSI (207 kPa) and maximum 65 PSI (488  kPa). This can be checked with

a simple water pressure testing gauge available at most hardware stores. NOTE: If greater than 65 PSI, a water pressure

regulator will be required.

10.  Attach hose with yellow handle to

OZONE SOLUTION OUT

on HCU barbed fitting - clamp is not required.

11.  Attach 1/8” hose to the drain fitting located to the right side of

OZONE SOLUTION OUT

fitting and mount the hose to the wall

down to the sink.

12.  Connect only to a circuit that is protected by a ground-fault circuit-interrupter (GFCI).

NOTE

•  Unit to be installed vertically as shown in the picture never horizontally. Doing so will damage the unit.

•  The new hose-sets supplied with the appliance are to be used, old hose-sets should not be reused.

•  Failure to follow the above installation instructions will void the warranty.

START-UP INSTRUCTIONS

Use the unit for intended use only: to fill mop buckets, auto-scrubbers, carpet extractors and spray bottles.

1.  Install the High Capacity unit as per

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

 above.

2.  Make sure the power cord is plugged into 110v power outlet. (230v where applicable.)

3.  Ensure

COLD WATER IN

hose is attached to open faucet or permanent cold water source with a minimum of 30 PSI

(207 kPa) , and a maximum 65 PSI (488  kPa).

4.  To start, press

FLOW

 switch to

ON

 position.

5.  When

SYSTEM READY

 indicator is

GREEN

, dispense into mop bucket, auto scrubber, carpet extractor or spray bottle.

6.  Shut unit off when not in use by pressing

FLOW

 switch to

OFF

 position. To disconnect, ensure

FLOW

 switch is in

OFF

 position

before removing plug from the outlet. Ensure water supply to the unit is turned off when not in use.

7.  If you encounter a red light with initial installation you may need to turn the device on and off multiple times as it sets itself.

Once set and installed it will charge thereafter.

NOTE:

If you still get a red light, check that the cold water is turned on. Check that there are no kinks in the line to allow

uninterrupted flow of water. Also check that the cartridge is in properly and the protective plastic on the cartridge has been removed.
Testing was performed using a duty cycle of 5 minutes on, 25 minutes off, with a maximum 60 minutes per 24 hour periods.

Do not exceed this duty cycle.

GROUNDING INSTRUCTIONS –

This appliance must be grounded. In the event of a malfunction or breakdown, grounding will

reduce the risk of electric shock by providing a path of least resistance for electric current. This appliance is equipped with a cord

having an appliance-grounding conductor and a grounding plug. The plug must be plugged into an appropriate outlet that is installed

and grounded in accordance with all local codes and ordinances.

WARNING:

Risk of Electric Shock. Disconnect power before servicing.

Never block or restrict

hose with nozzle, clamp or shut-off valve. This may damage unit and will

void the warranty. Always use

FLOW ON/OFF

switch to start or stop flow of Stabilized Aqueous Ozone.

WARNING:

Improper connection of the appliance-grounding conductor can result in a risk of electric shock. Check

with a qualified electrician or service representative if you are in doubt whether the appliance is properly grounded.

Do not modify the plug provided with the appliance; if it will not fit the outlet, have a proper outlet installed by a qualified technician.
